Located in the Palais de Tokyo, in which the Paris architecture firm Lina Ghotmeh designed the glamorous high-ceilinged contemporary dining room at Les Grands Verres. The American chef Preston Miller serves inventive Mediterranean-inspired dishes like a braised chicken shawarma or Berkshire pork shoulder with smoked eggplant and new potatoes.

Chef Arnaud Nicolas is an M.O.F. charcutier by trade, the menu consists in superb homemade charcuterie, including a pork pate en croute, called a couronne du porc and the best head cheese in Paris, among other items. Follow them up with dishes like cod with baby artichokes or beef cheek with coriander cream.

This new Brazilian barbecue spot on the Left Bank is directed by Brazilian-born chef Raphaël Régo. The chef  Raphaël uses an imported Brazilian rotisserie to get his churrasco just right, he’s roasting whole pieces of beef, legs of lamb, and poultry, and serving them seven days a week. For dessert, try rotisserie pineapple seasoned with rapadura and cinnamon.

This new, 20-seat restaurant from young chef Mickael Poyault, comes as a good surprise. The restaurant is composed by an open kitchen overlooking the red-brick-walled dining room, Poyault sends out inventive modern French bistro dishes like sauteed turnips with barley, goat-cheese jam, whiskey, and peaches; duck in chocolate sauce with cherries, zucchini, and verbena, among others.

The Flemish chef Wim Van Gorp has opened a cheerful small-plates restaurant with a regularly changing menu in the charming neighborhood of the 17th Arrondissement. Casual and reasonably priced, with friendly service, it offers dishes like cepes a la Grecque, salmon croquettes with a Japanese cracker crust, duck leg with herring caviar, and steak tartare.
