Maison et Objet – September 2019 Edition – Maison et Objet 2019 is the major event every design lover must attend. This amazing lifestyle show brings together an outstanding selection of pieces of decoration, design, furniture, accessories, textiles, fragrances and even tableware. The diversity in offer is an attempt to meet the expectations of the global markets that look at Maison et Objet as the number one trendsetter in the design world. After a great January edition, the world’s top design event returns to Paris from 6-10 September.
The September edition of Maison et Object will have four new stands. Living by François Bernard in Hall 2, Share by François Delclaux in Hall 3, Care by Elizabeth Leriche in Hall 4 and WORK! by Chantal Hamaide in Hall 6.
Confronted with stereotypical mass decoration trends, François Bernard wanted to experiment in newer, more distinctive and emerging creative directions. He explores three aspects of this elegant trend – Modern Living, Sculptural Living and Soft Living – and also their main influences.
For François Delclaux, tableware has got a new lease of life thanks to the hotel and restaurant industry, one in which it is possible to bend the rules, in both a minimalist and maximalist direction.
Comfort is ideally expressed in bedrooms and bathrooms, there are four facets presented: functionality in Simply Together; natural materials in Mediterranean Craft; nature in Deep Nature; and finally urban sophistication in City Elegance.
According to Chantal Hamaide, the connected society and new working practices are fashioning a connected nomadic lifestyle that relies on objects. Four words illustrate this trend: connectivity, comfort, usage and mobility.
Maison et Objet 2019 will count with the presence of numerous luxury brands that will present their newest furniture pieces and design ideas to the world during the fair.
You will find BRABBU and the other Covet Group brands in Hall 7, stands C8 – D7.
During the event, you’ll be able to be a part of amazing conferences and debates. From themes such as hospitality or retail, from exceptional designers to advanced solutions for interior design and trend analyses.
With every new edition, the design event puts six promising young design talents under the spotlight. Besides that, the event also elects the Designer of the Year. Laura Gonzalez was named Designer of the Year for September 2019. The 37-year-old designer, who trained at the Paris-Malaquais School of Architecture, has worked on a variety of Parisian shops, private apartments, beautiful hotels, and iconic restaurants. Gonzalez describes her personal style as “classical with a quirky twist.” She enjoys mixing fabrics, materials, and design inspirations to create a special, eclectic blend.
